Since publication with the Traverse City Record-Eagle, there has been an additional survivor sign and comment on this petition---validating the significance of this effort. 

Michigan historian, Richard Wiles, read the article and has been assisting me. He's been trying to get me in contact with individuals in the media, DNR, and legislators. One particular individual, a Republican legislator, is showing interest in this. However, I prefer to wait to identify him until further communication. 

Sheri Roti Protiva has been working with me also, to try to and bring awareness to this issue. She is particularly interested in survivor experiences and would welcome any communication initiated by survivors, especially if they have information regarding encountering Shelden in public spaces.
