Hello, check out the article on Major Fannie Griffin-McClendon.  Out of 855, she is the one of the few known living 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion.  You know, September is the month for Labor Day, Patriot Day, Grandparents Day, National 6888th CPDB Day, Virginia State 6888th CPDB Day,  Fall, and BIRHTDAYS!  We September people celebrate all month long. 

The late PFC Deloris L. Ruddock birthday is September 16th, and Major (RET) Fannie Griffin McClendon, the only known living 6888th CPDB member birthday is September 22nd.  She will be 105th.  What do you get for her birthday?   MAIL MAIL MAIL MAIL MAIL,  you get the picture.  Mrs. McClendon loves to get mail! 

So, for her 105th birthday, The Stamp Team would like her to get at least 105 birthday cards.  Please take a moment to send her a birthday card.  If you send the card on or before September 16th -National 6888th CPDB Day and Virginia State 6888th Day, that will count as an activity you did in celebration of Sept 16th.  Pass the address to others and ask them to send a card.
