Owen Taylor was more than just a teammate to us at Greenbrier High School; he was a friend to many, leaving behind a legacy full of kindness, sportsmanship, and excellence both on and off the field. As members of this tight-knit community in Greenbrier, TN, we want to ensure that Owen's contributions and spirit continue to inspire future generations.

We respectfully request the retirement of Football Jersey No. 25 in Owen's honor, at least through his graduation year of 2028. This symbolic gesture will serve as a perpetual reminder of the impact Owen had during his time at our school—how he led by example and fostered camaraderie, all while striving for the best in every practice and game. 

In addition to retiring the jersey, we propose the display of a framed jersey and plaque in a supervised, high-visibility location such as the commons or main hallway. This display will not only serve as a tribute but also inspire current and future students, athletes, and visitors who walk through the halls of Greenbrier High School.

Greenbrier High School has always celebrated heroes amongst its students; it's only fitting for Owen Taylor to be among those commemorated. We ask for your support in recognizing Owen’s legacy in a meaningful way.
