We, the undersigned members of the global rhythmic gymnastics community, including athletes, coaches, enthusiasts, and supporters, hereby present this petition with a heartfelt proposal. We propose that March 16th be officially recognized and celebrated annually as the International Day of Rhythmic Gymnastics. This date holds special significance as it marks the birthday of the esteemed Albina Deriugina, a monumental figure in the history and development of rhythmic gymnastics.

Albina Deriugina has been instrumental in shaping the world of rhythmic gymnastics into what it is today.
