Dear All,

I could not write any updates for the last days, I was waiting for some response from the CM's office for the petition we had submitted, but none so far. We have 49K signatures now, this is a great response! But guess what's greater? The other petition https://chn.ge/2L4h5nP with the same intent by Dr. Itticheria Alex has 200K+ signatures. This should make a bigger impact, so I thought we should watch their petition closely.

I am in touch with Dr. Itticheria Alex to discuss next steps. We have the following statuses now:

1. Although Kerala CM's office did not yet respond to our petition, they have responded to Dr. Alex's. The have responded saying they will consider our requests.
2. No response from PMO (or inability to attract the PMO's attention) yet with these petitions. Like I had mentioned earlier, our letter with all these signatures is a huge PDF file, and our Prime Minister's website does not accept this. I tried to tweet to the PMO, but no one responds there as well. We must find an alternative to send this petition to them. Perhaps Change.org can help, or we must get the attention of media.

I will keep this space updated. I will keep the petition open for more signatures, since we are only halfway to success.
