Hey Everyone,

We are now close to 45K signatures. I had sent our petition to the Chief Minister of Kerala via email, and awaiting his response.

However, we seem to have better progress at the other petition (which has a similar goal as ours) - https://chn.ge/2L4h5nP As you know, they are much nearer to our goal with more than 184K signatures, and can make a bigger impact. So I am co-ordinating with Dr. Itticheria Alex who started the other petition. I had shared the email ID of the Chief Minister with him last night.

The latest update there is, they seem to have a response from the CM's office, saying "The Request to seek International Aid WILL BE LOOKED INTO". I hope this is not an automatic response. ;)

As we know, the problem is far from over, and the relief operations also need much more momentum, and interference from Central Government, and if needed, other International Soceities like Red Cross, MSF etc.

We have to send this petition to the PMO also, but I do not have a direct email address to the PM, and in PM's website - write to the PM section, the PDF file cannot be more than 4 MB, ours is due to the high number of signatures.

I will see if I can send a shorter version of our petition, and mention that we have 43K Supporters right now. 

In the meantime, if anyone knows a better way to send this petition to the PMO, please let me know, and I could download and send the petition to you.
