With rains reduced and water level decreased a bit, the situation seems to be easing a little. The news media shows of rescue efforts progressing, however also delayed. I am sure they are doing the best they can. I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that people including infants and the elderly had to be left hungry, cold, scared and lonely in the face of rising waters, for a whole night. We could have requested help from more organizations...
