It is now 6 years since calls for Adoption Equality started in South Australia. Draft Legislation was put together in 2011 - and then buried. A 2 year review of the SA Adoption Act concluded on the 30th September 2015 - and 12months on we are still waiting. QLD and VIC made the change in under 12months 16,000 people are calling for ACTION You can help Email the minister and ask 1. Why things are taking so long ? 2. When will the SA Adoption act be amended to 'allow' same sex couples equal rights under the law, 3. Why are foreign adoptions by same sex couples not equal under SA law ?
