Petition updateAustralian Public, patient care & dry needling
Acupuncturists are threatened by lack of support by AHPRA and CMB!

AHPRA is the Australian government’s regulatory body for health care professionals. There are 14 health professions that are regulated by AHPRA. The newest is the 2012 formed Chinese Medicine Board (CMB).
The legislation works well. Professional bodies keep to their profession, as you would expect. Except for the CMB.
Acupuncturists are the unfortunate profession where a cannibal sub-course known as dry needling can be used by any of the other 13 health professions to treat conditions normally treated by acupuncturists.
How is this possible?
There are no laws prohibiting it. That’s how they do it…
And nobody is going to do anything either. AHPRA or the 14 regulated professional bodies. Yes… All 14….
Sound unbelievable? It’s a FACT…
The only way to change this strange and dangerous situation is to sign this petition to accept intellectual professionalism and outlaw intellectual cannibalism.
By petitioning the federal government we can keep patient care safe… that means you and your family, friends, all Australians….
