May 28, 2018 G7 is a group of seven countries with the most advanced economies in the world. The seven countries in the group are: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom. In June 2018 Canada will be hosting the annual G7 summit. The European Union also has participated in the summits.

One of the themes selected for the meetings is advancing gender equality and women's empowerment. "Gender equality is a fundamental human right and a top priority for the G7 during Canada's Presidency. Gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls are critical to building peace, reducing poverty, growing our economies, and achieving sustainability." Confirm this mandate with your deeds and demonstrate to the public with your actions that you are committed to gender equality.
