VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: This is in continuation of our update dated 12.04.2017 about IBA inviting UFBU for discussion on wage revision under XI BPS. In the larger interest of Retirees, AIBRF, CBPRO, AIBPARC & any other representative units should join together to keep aside for the time being any of their ambition to occupy, engage, crave for any ornamental position for the sake of power through backdoor entry of nomination & selection without any base from basic membership. One should have & display in action his sincerity & honesty in his endeavour of service to gain the confidence of general membership. That selfless service is really expected of at this juncture in the best interest of Retirees. Wrong notion, ambition of clinging to power by whatsoever means will neither help such persons nor Retirees in general. Requesting all affiliates to join together with unity & do justice to helpless retirees who have been relying on you with undoubted confidence. By virtue of your vast organisational experience while in service and your proximity if any with AIBEA, AIBOA, AIBOC etc, they may be persued to include our issues in their charter of demands under XI BPS and do justice to all Retirees atleast now, else it will be never done & Retirees will be continued to be cheated & deprived of their fundamental right to entitlement as has been done for the last two decades. All are aware that there is no conflict & difference of opinion in Regulation 5, 13 & 56 of Bank Employees Pension Regulations Act, 1995 vis a vis CCS Pension Rules, 1972. And still the updation in pension is allowed to Retirees under CCS Pensioners at each stage of revision under Pay Commission, but the same has been denied, deprived under Bank Pension Regulation to its Retirees. Bank Retirees!!! keep Aware, Awake & rise to the situation and all are requested irrespective of their affiliation to any of the affiliates continue their Struggle through other forums, platforms like http://pgportal.gov.In and www.Change.Org as has been repeatedly suggested till their genuine demands are redressed.
