Mar 26, 2017 — UPDATE: TEAM: Jayaprakash.N, Jayaraman.N, Jayaram .V, HSN Murthy, HS Vasudeva Rao & Vijayalakshmi S Rao have submitted Petition containing 40 years old pending issues of Bank Retirees / Pensioners before Hon'ble PM/FM on 12.12.2016 registered as No. PMOPG/E/2016/0582101 dated 15.12.2016 and PMOPG/E/ 2017/ 0123160 dated 03.03.2017 simultaneously submitted the same by speed post, but unfortunately, the issue neither responded nor redressed by the concerned authorities. The long pending Bank employees/ Retirees/ Pensioners' grievances /issues are: 1) Periodical Pension updation 2) 100% DA neutralisation and 3) improvement in Family Pension 4) Scrap NPS and reintroduce regular Pension to Serving Employees under Pension Regulation Act, 1993 to safe guard their future. 1) Today, Bank Empliyees & Retirees are suffering & undergoing agony for no fault of them. 2) Employees/Retirees of Central/state govt., Armed Forces, IAS, IPS & others in similar cadres in general & Law makers MLAs/ MPs with just one term of office and pillar of judiciary i.e. now even Judges of High/Supreme Courts in particular are accorded with more than 200% updation in salary, perks, Pension & other facilities periodically under Budget allocation which is burden on exchequer from public funds. 3) Whether only these categories of employees/retirees are human beings & Citizens of the Nation? 4) why Bank employees/Retirees are not treated like human beings/citizens of the Nation despite their yeoman service rendered in building the economy & served the nation during demonetisation. 5) Why Bank Retirees are denied of periodical updation of Pension from their own accumulated & increasing Pension Corpus Fund without a drain on exchequer? 6) Despite, being beneficiaries like Hon'ble judiciary have delivered land mark judgments in favour of Bank Retirees, why, such judgements are disregarded and litigations are allowed to be perpetuated for the sake of litigation 7) Even in so called Medical Insurance facilities, the Retirees were made to suffer financial burden with high rates. 8) Please scrap the pension under existing NPS scheme for the serving Bank Employees & cover their rights under regular Pension under Pension Regulation Act 1993 9) A similar petition was also filed in world plat form www.Change.Org. seeking public support for genuine cause of the Bank employees & Retirees and it is found that out of lakhs of retirees, only just 5200 people have supported the cause and pace is still going on. 10) We demand independent Bank Pay Commission in the lines of Central Pay Commission to render justice to the Bank Employees/Retirees/Pensioners. After continueously suffering for 40 years, hope, atleast now under the leadership of our Hon'ble PM Sri.Modiji & Sri. Jaitlyji, the natural justice will be reinstated to Bank Employees & Retirees to uphold their self respect & dignity Serving Employees, Retirees, Pensioners and other general public!!! Please awake and fight the injustice meted to them by all concerned and keep the movement on, till the rightful entitlements are approved without discrimination.
