We are eager to know what was the “ earlier offer”? If there was something offered earlier and if that stands means it was not accepted by UFBU and IBA does not relent but sticks to that offer. Then why the strike is deferred ? “ Deferred” is illusive it actually means cancelled. Let UFBU or CHV elaborate what was the earlier offer. We want a very clear information as to whether that earlier offer was on five-day banking only or included pension updation and 100% DA neutralisation. If pension updation was in the earlier offer then in what form it was . We are fed up with such hide and seek game of these players .
Point No.3 is clever distraction by IBA from the main issue. The so-called communication received from DFS is not connected with any of the issues for which strike call was given , DFS’s communication was pertaining to discussion on 12th BPS for which IBA sought mandate from the banks. DFS has not so far communicated anything for the pending issues for which strike call was given. But IBA again successfully paled the enthusiasm of UFBU and got the strike called off.

Friends from the above minutes of the meeting27'th , ufbu as usual adopted the same old practice differing strike on the basis of evasive and dilutery tactical,pre planned parrot words spoken by iba. This step OF differing strike and allowing talks on the issues is nothing but walking like a child holding the fingers IBA. UFBU HAS INDICATED TO GET THROUGH 5 DAYS WEEK AND TO SIDE TRACK PUD KNOWING FULLY WELL THE RETIREES HAVE NO STRENGTH AND THEIR LEADERS ARE THEIR FOLLOWERS.
I AM OF THE OPINION THAT INSTEAD GETTING FOOLED EVERY TIME ,BETTER ALL THE RETIREES TO SUBMIT THEIR LETTERS OF DISINTEREST ON PUD TO THEIR IMMEDIATE LEADERS WITH A REQUEST TO FORWARD THEM TO UFBU THROUGH AIBRF , AND FINALLY FOR GET THE SUBJECT, BEFORE UFBU DILUTE THE ASPIRATIONS OF RETIREES.

Good morning
Now we all are very anxious to know about the issue of pension updation. The negotiation is going on between unions and IBA but the development is being kept very secret.
In this regard, I submit my views about what is happening in these meeting.
Though some minutes are made viral by some leaders but they are not opening their cards specially in respect of picture of updation.
I have certain observations which I would like to share with you to pacify your anxieties.
The issues mentioned in the minutes of the meeting of 27.Jan are, pension updation and restoration of OPS concerned to retirees.
We should know that 100 percent merger of DA for pre 2002 is almost agreed by the unions and IBA.
regarding, pension updation, earlier there was rumour that only DA merger upto 6352 point is under consideration. Beyond this UFBU was not ready to discuss even.
Anyway, I express my views based on certain informations and observations that the situation has altogether changed.
The unions are under pressure to finalise the pension updation issue at the earliest in a way which should satisfy all leaving no dispute in the courts.
So, I have good reasons to believe that we may expect a good news in the near future.
The base of updation may be the updation formula of RBI. Most probably, 2012 may be the base year.
