Above requests we makehaving seen some incidents that happened with pensioner friends, where we saw the contemptuous treatment of the old pensioners above 70, 75, 80 years by corrupt union leaders.
A few months back, all the pensioners of Ahmedabad unitedly organized a huge gathering. With great enthusiasm, launda Bandlish of UFBU was invited to address the gathering. The pensioners hoped, Launda would be overwhelmed by their lavish welcome, express gratitude and positively discuss their burning issues, pension revision and health security, and assure to do something. Contrary to expectations, the launda behaved like a madman. He was found admonishing & scolding pensioners for 48 minutes, the pensioners were intimidated and demoralised. What he was saying, 90% of the people couldn't follow and those who understood were seen clapping. Was it not clown like behaviour? After this meeting everyone returned home disappointed.
Earlier in the conference of Maha Gujarat Bank Workers Union held in Ahmedabad, another elder Launda made fun of pensioners for 18 minutes. The pre-2010 bank employees who are eligible for pension were also present in the conference. There were also retired people, but no one questioned the loss of pension due Special Allowance, pension revision, health insurance etc.
Similar situation was seen in the provincial conference of U. P. Bank Employees Union held in Kanpur. Same elder Launda kept speaking arbitrarily and whether pensioners, pension optees still in job with special allowance or young Bank employees under NPS, they all kept gurgling silently like pigeons.
Addressing the Pensioners union of State Bank of Mysore a few days back the same elder launda said that pension revision is not mango hanging on the tree that can be got by pelting stones. These incidents are astonishing.
In September 2022, the same Launda appeared in a new avatar in front of the bankmen of Prayagraj and Lucknow. Straightway he said to achieve pension revision, due to certain hurdle it will take time, but pension revision will happen. We don't know why there was such a change in his tone & tenor? There must have been some reason?
We are shocked to see pensioners becoming clowns. When these Laundas humiliate pensioners, the working bankmen, who comprise 80% of old pension holder and whose pension entitlements have been swamped by special allowances since 2012, applaud.
There are still 6 lakh officers/employees in banks who are eligible for old pension and their pension has come down from 50% to 45.5% from 2012, to 41.8% from 2017 through special allowance. Will go further down to 34/35% from Nov. 2022.
Our question is to these people, why are you celebrating your decreasing pension?
It is difficult to live an honest life with full salary, so how will the retired life be with 45.5%, 41.8%, 23/35% or further 25% pension?
How to have health insurance with a premium of one lakh / two lakh every year?
Why not deploy welfare funds for the times when you need it the most? The vision of these Laundas has vanished. They are not leaders, they are Madari. By playing damaru, they are making present old and new bank workers to dance like monkeys. These days the bank workers are not only very educated but also technosavvy, whom these rascals are fooling. Bankmen must understand that they are being treated like bonded labourers. We do not even talk about the decreasing wages, allowances, facilities and increasing back breaking work, arbitrary transfers and harassment, it continues without any stop. Harassment and unethical exploitation of women workers continues. The unions are silent, supporting the management silently. There is no permission to cry or make any appeal, ghut-ghut ke mar jao, it's the wish of your Sayyad.

हमारे ये उद्गार पेंशनर मित्रों के साथ घटी कुछ सच्ची घटनाओं को देख कर हैं, जहां हमनें 70, 75, 80 साल के ऊपर के बुजुर्ग पेंशनरों के साथ भ्रष्ट यूनियन नेताओं का तिरस्कार पूर्ण व्यवहार देखा।
कुछ महीने पहले अहमदाबाद के सभी पेंशनरों ने एकजुट होकर एक विशाल सभा का आयोजन किया था। बड़े उत्साह के साथ यूयफबीयू के लौंडे बंदलीश को संबोधित करने के लिए बुलाया था। पेंशनर्स को उम्मीद थी, लौंडा उनके भव्य स्वागत सत्कार से अभिभूत होगा, कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करेगा और उनके ज्वलंत मुद्दों, पेंशन रिवीजन और स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा, पर सकारात्मक चर्चा करेगा और कुछ करने का आश्वासन देंगा। आशाओं के विपरीत, लौंडे ने सिरफिरे जैसा व्यवहार किया। 48 मिनट तक पानी पी-पी कर पेंशनरों को जलील करता रहा। वह क्या बोल रहा था, 90% लोगों की समझ में नहीं आया और जिनकी समझ में आया वे भी ताली बजाने में मशगूल दिखे। इस सभा के बाद हर कोई निराश हो कर घर लौटा।
इसके पहले इसी अहमदाबाद में आयोजित महा गुजरात बैंक वर्कर्स यूनियन के सम्मेलन में एक और बड़े लौंडे ने पेंशनरों का 18 मिनट तक माखौल उड़ाया। सम्मेलन में 2010 के पूर्व के बैंककर्मीं भी मौजूद थे, जो पेंशन पात्रता रखते हैं। रिटायर्ड लोग भी थे, लेकिन किसी ने पेंशन रिवीजन, स्वास्थ्य बीमा या स्पेशल एलावंस से हो रहे पेंशन के नुकसान पर कोई सवाल नहीं किया।
ऐसा ही नजारा यूं.पी. बैंक इंम्प्लाइज यूनियन के प्रांतीय सम्मेलन कानपुर में रहा। लौंडा मनमानी बोलता रहा और क्या रिटायर्ड, क्या स्पेशल एलावंस वाला पेंशन आप्टी या एन.पी.एस. का युवा साथी, सभी चुपचाप कबूतर की तरह गुटुर्गूं करते रहे।
अभी-अभी स्टेट बैंक आफ मैसूर के रिटायरी यूनियन को संबोधित करते हुए इसी लौंडे ने कहा कि पेंशन रिवीजन पेड़ पर लटका आम नहीं कि पत्थर मार कर गिरा लो। ये घटनाएं हैरान करने वाली हैं।
सितंबर, 2022 में यही लौंडा प्रयागराज और लखनऊ के बैंककर्मियों के सामने नये औतार में दिखा। सीधे पेंशन रिवीजन हासिल करने की बात कही। कहा, कुछ कठिनाइयां है, हासिल करने में समय लग सकता है, लेकिन पेंशन रिवीजन हो कर रहेगा। पता नहीं ऐसा बदलाव क्यों दिखा? कोई कारण तो रहा होगा?
हम हैरान हैं, पेंशनर्स को जोकर बनते देख कर। जब ये लौंडे पेंशनरों की लानत-मलामत करते हैं, तो बैंककर्मीं, जिसमें 80% पुरानी पेंशनधारी हैं और जिनकी पेंशन पात्रता में स्पेशल एलावंस का घुन 2012 से लगा हुआ है, तालियां बजाते हैं।
बैंकों में अब भी 6 लाख अधिकारी/कर्मचारी ऐसे हैं जो पुरानी पेंशन की पात्रता वाले हैं और उनकी पेंशन स्पेशल एलावंस के जरिए 50% से घट कर 2012 से 45.5%, 2017 से 41.8% हो चुकी है। आगे 2022 से 34/35% पर आने वाली हैं।
✓ हमारा सवाल इन्हीं लोगों से हैं कि इस घटती पेंशन पर जश्न क्यों मना रहे हो?
✓ पूरी तनख्वाह से ईमानदार जिंदगी बसर होने में कठिनाई है तो इस तरह 45.5%, 41.8%, 23/35% या आगे 25% पेंशन के साथ सेवानिवृत्त जीवन कैसे कटेगा?
✓कैसे हर साल एक लाख/ दो लाख के प्रीमियम से स्वास्थ्य बीमा होगा?
वेलफेयर फंड को उस समय के लिए नियोजित क्यों नहीं करते, जब तुम्हें इसकी बड़ी जरूरत होगी? इन लौड़ों का विजन लुप्त हो चुका है। ये नेता नहीं, मदारी हैं। डमरू बजाकर वर्तमान पुराने-नये बैंककर्मियों को बंदर की तरह नचा रहे हैं। आजकाल बैंककर्मी काफी पढ़ा-लिखा, टेकनोसैवी है, जिसे ये लौंडें बेवकूफ बना रहे हैं। बैंककर्मीं इतना तो समझ ही सकते हैं कि उनके साथ बंधुआ मजदूर की तरह व्यवहार हो रहा है। घटते वेतन, भत्ते, सुविधाएं और बढ़ते कमर तोड़ काम, मनमाने ट्रांसफर और उत्पीड़न की हम बात ही नहीं करते, यह तो बिना रोक टोक जारी है। महिला कर्मियों का भी उत्पीड़न और अनैतिक शोषण जारी है। यूनियनें चुप्पी साधे, मैनेजमेंट का मौन समर्थन कर रहीं हैं। न तड़पने की इजाजत है न फरियाद की ,घुट-घुट के मर जाओ, मर्जी तेरे सय्याद की है। End
