THINGS ARE MOVING TOWARDS POSITIVE LOGICAL CONCLUSIONS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE FRATERNITY OF BANK RETIREES...
Referring to the above, I annex here the link for the proposed Study Tour of the Parliamentary Committee on Government Assurance as notified vide MOF/DFS ref. F.No.7/56/2021-Part, Govt. of India dated 08 09 2021 addressed to the IBA Committee on Pension Revision- viz:
01. MD & CEO . PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK, HO, DELHI
02 " UNION BANK OF INDIA, HO, MUMBAI
03. " INDIAN BANK, HO, CHENNAI
04. " INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK, HO, CHENNAI
05. " UCO BANK, HO, KOLKATA
06. " CHAIRMAN, IBA.
Two Meetings are being held from 20th. to 23rd. September at Bhubaneswar & Kolkota , where the Parliamentary Committee members would interact with the members of the IBA committee to examine the assurances given by the Government regarding revision of Pension of Retired Bank Employees.

Vaiko as well as Navaneetha krishnan from Tamil Nadu are there.
KTS Tulsi is very senior Supreme Court Advocate .
Hope there is sufficient pressure created to quickly decide the long pending issue.
Vaiko is an extempore ....political speaker Runs a party of his own .Came out of DMK about 20-25 yrs back

Dear Friend ,
Probably for the first time at least I have come to know that if the reply in Parliament by the Ministry concerned indicates some sort assurance, then it has to be discussed with those Govt Deptt, PSBs etc ,in further meetings, where the nominated Member of Parliament participate and give final recommendations.
Now because such issues are to be discussed with the concerned Department, therefore it is not possible that the committee on its own can submit the recommendations for fulfilling those assurances.
Certainly there will be impact of the opinion/ suggestions submissions of the concerned department/ PSU
By reading the posted PDF file, one can see that the meetimgs are not only in respect of assurances (as appeared in reply in Rajya Sabha)* *for updating/revision of Bank's Pensioners only, but there are some more such subject issues.
So one can't say that after such meetings the Recommendations for Pension Revision will be submitted by the Committee.
The participation of IBA and Banks will certainly have impact on the recommendations.
