Annexed here is the Copy of the letter sent by Gen. Secretary of AIBRWA to Madam Nirmala Sitharaman, Hon'ble FINANCE MINISTER and Sri Anurag Thakur Hon'ble State MINISTER OF FINANCE reminding them not to forget bank Retirees issues.
This is also followed by their contemplated Action programme in resolution of the burning issues of the Retirees.
I AM OF THE STONG OPINION THAT : IT'S HIGH TIME , WE SHOULD REAISE TO OCASSION TO EXPRESS OUR SOLIDARITY BY ALL MEANS TO THE WARRIORS ON THE FOREFRONT TO MAKE "POWERS-THAT-BE TO READ THE WRITINGS ON THE WALL.... "NO PAINS... NO GAINS".... DEEDS ALWAYS SPEAK LOUDER THAN VOICE.....

Sub:- Bank Pensioners await in queue
Under extreme frustration and sheer dismay, having no other way out, we invite your Kind attention to our plights, being not addressed despite your very keen, clear candid advices to Bankers & their Association, IBA, Executives.
We, Bank Pensioners, do not know our sins, we did to be employee of PSBs owned by GOI! After retirement for last 25 years, we are struggling for our Pension Revision & languishing under extreme financial difficulties. We are aging, ailing & dying pensioners, the senior citizens of India.
Despite, your talks with Sarvashri Dinesh Khara, Raj Kiran Rai, Bankers & putting all your energy, stress & desire to make sure that the ‘bank men are to be given their dues’, there is no any headway in last 4 months ! Was it your priestly advice or as of FM’s wish?
To our belief, the Hon’ble FM knows well, all bank men are in waiting queues and need more coins to be dropped in their bowls for survival.
You had told IBA ‘to sort out issues related with the bank employees, their pension, family pension and pension of those who retired long time ago, whose pension does not commensurate with the pension of equal rank’ It was very clear and comprehensive advice, but seems to have fallen in deaf ears of authorities.
We find your ‘ all energy to make sure’ – ‘bank employees given their dues’ wasted. Your speaking to Mr. Khara, Mr. Raj Kiran Rai proved futile, as it didn’t yield any result so far. We are extremely disappointed to see such unsavory attitude of Bankers towards Government.
Your profound ideas, “ we need bank employees to be attended too, particularly their families and pension of retired employees too. Pension matter, staff welfare, these are the issues in which I am definitely concerned” fell victim of hostile attitude of IBA executives.
Issue of revision needs no more consultation or concurrence with anybody, given the fact as narrated in clause (iv) (Page 264) of DFS Note on Periodical Pension Revision dated 15.05.2015. It needs administrative decision at your level itself.
We, therefore, seek your benign indulgence in this regard to make pension revision a reality. Bank Pensioners shall ever remain greatful to you for your decision in this matter.
