My Dear Friends,
Referring to the above, you are all quite aware that till recently, IBA /UFBU have been all along misleading every body as to huge cost burden to meet the Pension updation projecting inconsistent figures without any rhyme or reason.
They never bothered to apply their minds seriously to our burning issue.
Thanks to our Hon'ble Finance Minister - Smt. Nirmala Sitharamanji for her empathy and concern towards us . But for her initiative with determination, things would not have moved in our favour, as at present.
Only a few have made sustained efforts representing to the Hon'ble FM with fact and figures to set at knot the ambiguity and confusion created by IBA -UFBU combine in the past.
Among those, the following letter addressed to the Hon'ble FM Smt. Nirmala Sitharamanji by UNITED FORUM OF BANK RETIREES vide their letter dated 18th. Nov. 2020 which is annexed herewith. The contents are self explanatory.
In additon to the above, even AIBPARC also represented to Hon'ble FM on similar lines - with exhaustive calculations vide their letter dtd. 18 OCT. 2020

To effectively serve for the cause of the fraternity, one need not necessarily hold any position in any organization
It's not a pre-condition.
In fact, it becomes an unavoidable impediment for people like me .
I do not want anybody to curtail the freedom of my expression and functioning by occuppying ornmental posts and hardly doing anything on constructive lines.
