My Dear Sri Kasturi Rangan garu,

It's my pleasure to recall your phone yesterday,  extending your warm  welcome greetings to me on the eve of the merger of our syndicate bank with canara bank. 

During the course of our  conversation, among other things,  you also appraised me of your strategy as to the pending curative petition filed by you in 100% DA issue

Much in particular,  we are of the considered opinion, that the CP filed by our learned friend -Com. Debesh Bhattacharji of UBIRWA of Kolkotta ,satisfies  all the requirements/conditions,  as laid down  by the Supreme Court  to entertain a curative petition--    to be more precise,  the ground on which,  Rupa Ashok Hurra vs. Ashok Hurra and Anr. (2002) was favourably considered, --- is  directly relevant to that of the pending CP filed by  UBIRWA  viz:-

         a.  the   review petition was disposed off, even without giving any opportunity to the aggrieved to present the facts as emerged in the judgments pronounced in the High  Court of  Judicature, Kolkatta.  

         b.  misrepresentation of fact which  is directly relevant - ie. Gazzitte notification of UNION BANK OF INDIA  was deliberately  shown as a documentary evidence -- AS THAT   OF   UNITED BANK OF INDIA, WHO DID NOT COMPLIED WITH THIS MANDATED FORMALITY AT ALL,  AS ON THE DATE OF THE JUDGMENT. 

Among other things, the above two are  vital grounds for the favorable judgment in  the pending CP filed by UBIRWA.
I request our learned friend Com. Debeshji to follow up with their advocates
