Today, December 3 2022, is the 30th anniversary of International Day of People with Disability - a day for us all to acknowledge the achievements of people with disability, and advocate for an inclusive future for all.
Even today, Australia's immigration rules discriminate against people with disabilities through impossible health requirements.
Please tweet your support and urge Andrew Giles to reconsider our case, and the discriminatory laws
Our society is richer and more beautiful because of people like my son, Seongjae. To simply view him and others like him in terms of their disability reduces and belittles them. It ignores the positive contributions they make to the community.
My family is valuable to our community and it hurts us to have to prove it to the government. We need to change the way we assess migration applications of people with disabilities.

We've committed ourselves to this country. It's our home. We don't deserve to be treated this way. My son doesn't deserve to simply be viewed as a financial burden to society.
Thank you for your support.
