Once more into the breach dear friends of Otis. This hearing will determine Otis's future and your support is needed once  again. The risks he will face if returned to the DRC remain the same as they were last January and we must all be concerned for his safety if this were to happen. In the last ten months since his release from detention Otis has continued to make a valued contribution to the community in Swansea. He has resumed volunteering at Oxfam and working with many other community groups. He volunteered at the Hay Festival again when he featured in a film about Festival stewards. As part of the 50 year celebrations in Swansea he did drumming for Prince Charles.  He is well settled and well-loved in Swansea. Deporting Otis is in nobody's interests, least of all his. Please circulate this petition and get your friends to sign it to demonstrate the depth of support for Otis; write to the Home Secretary asking her to act compassionately; use social media to publicise his case.  Let us act together to protect our friend Otis.
