We have sent two applications (a discretionary visa and a fresh claim for asylum) to the home office in February. Unfortunately, the home office lost the asylum applications and they asked me to apply again in person. However, even by doing so they won’t look at the asylum application until they process the discretionary visa application. This might yield the asylum application outdated.
