Dear Supporters,

In order to lend a bigger voice to this petition to ban the use of real fire arms on set and demand better crew working conditions, I have reached out to all notable AFI alumni who graduated from the conservatory.

Hollywood’s best movies have been made by these unbelievably talented filmmakers. Here is a list of all of those whom I’ve contacted:

David Lynch, Terrence Malick, Darren Aronofsky, Andrea Arnold, Rachel Morrison, Robert Richardson, Wally Pfister, Robert Elswit, Janusz Kaminski, Matthew Libatique, Paul Schrader.

I have reached out to the governors office in New Mexico and New York State to discuss Halyna’s Law and demand that they follow California Senator Dave Cortese’s lead and take the initiative to propose a similar law that he has drafted.

If Hollywood studios wish to remain silent on this matter, I will continue on my mission to get legislation passed in each individual state so the studios can’t simply move production to another location with lesser rules on gun and safety protocols.
