The Hollywood Beach Culture and Community Center Redevelopment Proposal is on the City meeting agenda for Wednesday, Feb 2nd. 5 PM.
The City Commission will be considering business agreements for the proposed Hollywood Beach Culture and Community Center skyscraper on public land. The Ground Lease and Comprehensive Agreement are a 5 p.m. time certain agenda item. Some residents are now concerned about the City getting a bad deal, saying that after looking over the Ground Lease and Comprehensive Agreement, it appears that the City (taxpayers) will be paying for the new public facilities.
Please rally people to come to City Hall, listen to the details of the agreement, and sign up to speak. You must sign up to speak between 5-5:30 PM. (If you can't make it in the evening, you can speak directly to the City Commission during the CRA meeting's Citizen Comments at 9 AM).
If you oppose this development, you can sign the letter to the City Commission: NoNewTower.com
