In the 8/25 city meeting, the developers had moved the parks back off of our dunes, but completely eliminated Azalea Terrace and stuck Harry Berry Park on top of Azalea Terrace. The building is still 30 stories tall. There was discussion about whether or not they might be condos, time shares, or rentals. Commissioner Shuham asked if we had to go through with building a condo, and the city manager and attorney said the city commission could choose to improve the property in other ways, if they want to (for example, with CRA help).
Ask your commissioner how they feel about the proposal and tell them how you feel. 954.921.3321
