Sixteen months ago, Oranga Tamariki uplifted my babies based on allegations. They manipulated a family hui to force me into making decisions, despite already having other plans, including an uplift warrant. When the warrant expired, they failed to return my kids, disregarding their own legal advice and unlawfully usurping my guardianship. I filed a complaint, believing their apologies genuine until a year later when I discovered the truth.
Oranga Tamariki has been operating in secrecy, concealing files that show over 470 days of unlawful actions, breaching laws and parents' rights, and disregarding professional advice. They consistently cover up their wrongdoings, protect their staff, and destroy families using their power abusively with zero relevant evidence. This organisation presents misleading or false information to judges to obtain without notice warrants to take people's babies unlawfully.
It is imperative that Oranga Tamariki is held accountable for its actions and that their secret files are exposed to public scrutiny. They should not exert unchecked power leading to the destruction of families based on false pretenses.
