On February 3rd, a train derailment occurred involving 50 cars. 10 of the cars included chemicals that are known to cause cancer. The local safety departments tried to conduct a controlled explosion, but the cloud of plume is now spreading horizontally across the surrounding area.
Residents have complained of headaches and the strong smell of chlorine. Though the evacuation notice was lifted, the cloud continues to spread. Many news channels have ignored coverage of this horrific environmental disaster. Hold the big industries accountable for their environmental destruction.
