This week far right extremist Laura Loomer posted that "Alligator Lives Matter" and stated as follows in reference to the Alligator Alcatraz concentration camp in Florida, "The good news is, alligators are guaranteed at least 65 million meals if we get started now." This figure directly corresponds to the Latino population in the United States of 65 million people.

 Given that Alligator Alcatraz (aka Alligator Auschwitz) is specifically intended to house Latino immigrants, the threat was clear. This is a terrorist threat against all Latinos and should be taken seriously. Loomer must be charged with making terrorist death threats and tried in a court of law. Please help us hold her accountable.

Hate and extremism have no place in a civilized society. The war on Latinos rages unabated in, not only California, but across the nation. Innocent people, including some legal US Citizens have been kidnapped, deported or detained without due process. An exhortation by a public figure to feed 65 million Latinos to alligators would, under normal circumstances, be considered nothing more than hate rhetoric, 

However, in this instance, a concentration camp clearly exists in the Florida Everglades that offers no protection whatsoever for detainees. Other public figures continue to laugh and joke about the deaths of innocent people. The dehumanizing of any population of people is abhorrent. Loomer needs the message to be clear. Americans will not take death threats lightly. This is a very serious and dangerous situation that empowers other armed extremists to target Latinos. Help us stop this attempt at genocide.
