Hold House of Faiza Accountable: End the Breach of Consumer Rights

The Issue

I am one of the many alleged consumers who have fallen victim to House of Faiza, a clothing business that has allegedly breached my consumer rights and failed to uphold its promises.

Background: Established in 2017, House of Faiza presents itself as a global online destination for high-end Pakistani fashion. They claim to be passionate about fashion, strive to provide their customers with the latest and most sought-after collections from renowned Pakistani fashion brands and designers.

However I have reported serious grievances with this business. I purchased designer dresses that never arrived on time despite the promises of timely deliveries and refunds. Customer service interactions with HoF were characterized by lies, false promises, and a lack of accountability.

My Concerns:

  • Non-Delivery of Purchased Products: I spent a significant sum (over £450) on designer dresses that were never delivered.
  • Broken Promises: House of Faiza promised a full refund when I requested a cancellation, but this full refund never arrived as confirmed by my bank and a business representative who said the refund was processed but "bounced back". I only received £44.99 refund for one order but the larger order that amounts to over £450 is still outstanding which I am now having to claim back via my bank. 
  • Misleading Customer Service: The customer service team, operating primarily through email and Instagram, has been largely unresponsive and unhelpful, with multiple reports of false information and rude statements. Staff consistently contradicted each other in writing.
  • Lack of Accountability: House of Faiza's evasion of responsibility coupled with the absence of a contact phone number on their website, adds to my frustration and distrust as a consumer.
  • Lack of sufficient details on their invoice sent to me, as expected by UK government guidance, including “full company name as it appears on the certificate of incorporation”, company address and VAT registration number. 
  • My Call to Action: I have initiated a dispute with my bank and am filing a formal complaint with Trading Standards via the Citizens Advice Bureau. I now seek further justice through this petition.  

My objectives are clear:

  • To raise awareness of the alleged breaches of consumer rights by House of Faiza.
  • To demand accountability and transparency from House of Faiza for their actions.
  • To prevent more consumers from falling victim to this business.
  • To inspire regulators to investigate and take necessary action against House of Faiza.

I urge:

  • The relevant authorities to investigate these alleged breaches of my consumer rights and trading standards and take appropriate legal action.
