We’ve now reached over 175 signatures — and the pressure is building. Thank you to everyone who has spoken up, signed, and shared. You are part of a growing call for real change in our healthcare system.

🔍 What We've Found

This week, I reviewed the Bro Taf Local Medical Committee’s 2023–24 Annual Report — the body that represents GP practices in our area, including Keir Hardie, Morlais, and others.

What I found was disturbing — but not surprising:

They acknowledge dangerous workloads and unsustainable pressure on GPs
They admit to funding gaps and understaffing that put services at risk
But they say nothing about how these failures affect patients
There is no mention of accountability, no patient complaint system, and no plan to improve outcomes
They know the system is failing — but patients are still being left without medication, without records, and without care.

🚨 This Isn’t Just Incompetence — It’s Collusion by Silence

When multiple GP practices under one umbrella body repeatedly fail their patients — and nothing changes — we must ask:

Who is protecting who?

Because it’s certainly not the patients.

🧠 A Disturbing Pattern: Shared Bias Behind Closed Doors

We must also talk about something even more concerning: the idea that patients may be suffering from preconceived bias shared informally between GPs.

Many of us have had the same experience: walking into a new practice only to be dismissed, distrusted, or judged immediately.

When so many of these GPs are linked through Bro Taf LMC, it raises serious questions:

Are doctors discussing patients off the record?
Are reputations being passed on — not medical facts, but opinions?
Are we being labelled before we even speak?
This is not professionalism — this is prejudice, protected by silence.

And it could be one of the reasons patients are feeling disbelieved and mistreated across multiple practices.

We Deserve Better — and We’re Demanding It

We will keep speaking up
We will keep sharing our stories
We will keep building pressure until someone is held responsible
Please share this petition widely — and if you’re able to, consider chipping in to help promote it. Every share brings more voices, more visibility, and more accountability.

This isn’t just a petition — it’s a warning shot.
We’re not going away.
