To the Members of the United States Congress,

We, the undersigned citizens of the United States, demand accountability, fairness, and reform from those elected to represent us.

When the government shuts down, millions of hardworking Americans go without pay—yet Congress continues to collect a paycheck. If the people you serve are not getting paid, neither should you.

In nearly every government contract, missing a deadline carries real penalties. Congress should be no different. When you fail to pass a budget or perform your most basic duties, there must be consequences.

The United States is long overdue for comprehensive Congressional reform. These changes are not extreme—they are the minimum standards of integrity and responsibility our elected officials should uphold.

No Pay During Government Shutdowns – If the government isn’t serving the people, Congress shouldn’t be paid.

Term Limits – Public service should be temporary, not a lifelong career.

Voter-Approved Salary Increases – No self-approved raises. The people must decide.

Equal Healthcare – Members of Congress should have the same healthcare options as their constituents—no special privileges.

No Pension – Serving in Congress is a duty, not a retirement plan.

Ban Lobbyists and Limit Campaign Contributions – End the stranglehold of special interests and return power to the people.

Single-Issue Legislation – Each bill should address one issue only. No 400-page monstrosities stuffed with hidden spending. Write laws the people can actually read and understand.

Ban Individual Stock Ownership by Members of Congress – Lawmakers should not profit from policies they create.

Abolish the Two-Party System – Americans deserve representation that reflects their voices, not two entrenched political machines.

Address the National Debt with Accountability – Our national debt is spiraling out of control, yet Congress continues to spend without consequence.
We propose a constitutional amendment disqualifying all sitting members of Congress from re-election if the national debt exceeds 4% of GDP. This strict accountability measure would enforce fiscal discipline and protect future generations.

The American people are tired of excuses, partisanship, and political games.
