Things have slowed down a bit this past week, but I am hopeful we can gain some momentum again.  Did you know that CCSU's governing agency the CT State Colleges and Universities Board of Regents reports directly to the Governor?  Other higher educational agencies can not tell them how to operate.  Only changes in legislation approved by the Governor will become policy.  In the meantime, public colleges under CSCU are free to create (and breach) policies without recourse.  This is why sharing my petition is so important.  We need to make sure CSCU has policies in place that support victims of domestic/intimate partner violence.  No longer can we stand by and let the victim be "revictimized" by grey areas in collegiate Codes of Conduct.  Please share the link to my petition with your family and friends.  Sharing IS caring!  My goal is to bring it to the Governor once we get 1000 signatures.  Can you help me?
