The issue

Schools have been grappling with pervasive bullying issues for several years, necessitating immediate action. As someone who has witnessed or been directly affected by the ongoing bullying problems, I can no longer remain indifferent and watch as this detrimental behavior continues unchecked. The impact of bullying is profoundly damaging, not just for the direct victims but for everyone involved, including parents themselves. I am advocating for our children. The lack of consequences enables bullies to persist. The government and schools must introduce new rules and laws to protect our children. Our children are suffering from mental health issues and committing suicide due to bullying at school and on the internet. What measures are being taken to address this issue? Nothing. When will the bullying cease, and when will schools, teachers, and parents take decisive action? For anyone reading this petition, if you have children, nephews, or nieces in schools, please engage them in discussions about bullying and its consequences. It is our collective responsibility to ensure schools provide safe environments for our children. We all must contribute to this effort. Please assist by signing and sharing this petition. Young individuals should not be subjected to harassment, bullying regarding their gender choices, or cyberbullying. Children being told “Go Kill Yourself” by their peers, and numerous other unacceptable incidents, demonstrate the urgency of this situation. The school and police were contacted on multiple occasions regarding my siblings, friends, and myself. The system failed us repeatedly. Teachers need to stop standing up for the bullies and stop punishing the wrong ones. Why should children get away with telling other students to go kill themselves? It’s wrong on every level. They no longer have a voice, so I will be their voice. Please discuss bullying and its consequences with your child. Encourage them to support their peers and say no when someone is being bullied. Once I have collected sufficient signatures, I will forward this petition to the Board of Education, Parliament members, local schools, and local representatives. If we unite, we can effect change in the treatment of our children in the future.
