After weeks of back-and-forth, countless emails, and hours on the phone, I’ve finally been told that my refund has been processed. Amazon confirmed it should reach my account within 5–7 business days.

This has only happened because I refused to give up. Sellers like Pixel Direct have been exploiting families for years, and too often customers are left powerless, while platforms like Amazon and eBay hide behind policy.

I want to make this clear: you can fight back — and WIN.

Here’s what worked for me, and what I recommend to others who have been victims:

✅ Keep everything documented — emails, screenshots of the seller’s replies, even timestamps of phone calls.

✅ Escalate until someone listens — don’t settle for scripted answers, ask for a manager or Amazon’s Management Team.

✅ Remind them of the law — under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and card payment chargeback rules, you have a right to a proper resolution.

✅ File official complaints — I reported this to Trading Standards via Citizens Advice. This puts additional pressure on Amazon.

✅ Make it public — I launched this petition yesterday, and it already has multiple signatures. Amazon knows people are watching.
