Hold All Creators Accountable to YouTube’s Community Guidelines — Ethan Klein

The issue

YouTube must enforce its rules equally, regardless of a creator’s size or influence.

We are calling on YouTube to review and take appropriate action in line with its own Community Guidelines and Terms of Service in relation to Ethan Klein, host of the H3 Podcast/Show. As it stands, there is an alarming pattern of repeated violations that would see most creators demonetized, suspended, or removed from the platform entirely.

Ethan Klein’s content regularly includes:

  • Targeted harassment and bullying, often directed at smaller creators, critics, and public figures.
  • Doxxing and privacy violations, including the exposure of individuals’ identities, social media profiles, and families — resulting in real-world threats and consequences.
  • False accusations and conspiratorial claims, including blaming critics & creators for a Child Protective Services visit to the Klein's home.
  • Misinformation and manipulated media, especially regarding global issues such as the Israel-Palestine genocide; an example being Ethan promoting a "charity" linked to a political think tank. Also hoping a cancer charity event fails because of personal conflict between Ethan & the ex-owners of the event.
  • Hate speech, including derogatory comments about religious and ethnic groups; eg that "Hasidic Jews are all inbred" & "they smell bad".
  • Gambling content, including streams filmed live from casinos in Las Vegas.
  • Profane, demeaning language — particularly toward women and those who disagree with him. Eg. Creator Denims being called a f****** b**** numerous times.
  • Dangerous rhetoric, including mocking victims of self-immolation (Aaron Bushnell) and inciting his audience to brigade critics across platforms: this includes the doxxing of a man and his family resulting in r*pe threats being sent to his underage sister & his mother's place of work being bombarded with harassment by fans & encouraged by Ethan. Numerous others have fallen victim to Ethan's doxxing.

These behaviors are not isolated incidents. They represent only a small fraction of Community Guidelines violations that YouTube continues to turn a blind eye to.

They represent an ongoing pattern that directly contradicts YouTube’s commitment to a safe, inclusive, and respectful platform.

Why This Matters
Every creator — no matter how popular — should be held to the same standards. When large creators face no consequences for violating YouTube’s policies, it sets a dangerous precedent. It sends the message that bullying, misinformation, and online abuse are acceptable if you’re big enough.

This isn’t about cancel culture. It’s about accountability, safety, and consistency.

What We’re Asking For:
We ask that YouTube investigate Ethan Klein’s content against current Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

Enforce its own rules impartially, including those regarding harassment, misinformation, doxxing, hate speech, and gambling.

Acknowledge the responsibility it has to creators and viewers alike in maintaining a fair, respectful digital space.

Supporting evidence is being compiled and will be added to this petition in the coming hours, including links, transcripts, and documentation. A very small sample has been included.

This petition is not about silencing voices. It is about protecting them.
