Words cannot express how grateful I am to see a community stand together for a local business. For the tiny town of Martin, TN, the milestone of a thousand signatures seems like an impossible achievement—but here we are!
I wanted to let everyone know that I have received some PDFs from Lynette Wagster, the chairman for the Historic Zoning Commission, that attempt to better explain their ruling behind forcing Martin's Coffee & Bakery to remove their lights. I have read over all 4 PDFs sent to me and I personally could not find anything that explained the HZC's ruling. I have emailed Ms. Wagster back asking for more specific information and as of this evening (Friday, Feb. 21) have not received a response.
I was also sent a link to NWTN Today's article covering the meeting from Tuesday and found it to be an interesting read. I will have all PDFs and Links available to send to anyone who would like to view them; you can email me at eesdresden@gmail.com and I'll send them the first chance I get. You can also find the link to the NWTN Today article above underlined in red.
I want to thank everyone again who has taken the time to sign this petition to support our favorite little coffee shop. Now let's get to 1,000!
