On April 8, 2022 a court hearing between the caves monastery and Associated Pan Malaysia Cement (APMC) were held at the Ipoh High Court.  Since 8.30am, a large crowd of devotees and supporters had gathered at the Ipoh High Court, anxiously awaiting the judgement. Every supporter waited for over five hours. Due to a lack of time, Ipoh High Court Judge YA Tuan Bhupindar Singh deferred the hearing until May 13, 2022.
