Today, March 15, marks my brother Jason’s 39th birthday. It is also his 236th day in jail. We keep fighting and the good news is that the momentum to free him grows by the day. We are now a movement of more than 240,000 people from over 139 countries. Just this week, boxing legend Muhammad Ali joined our calls for Jason’s release. And nearly 20 prominent individuals, including Anderson Cooper, Arianna Huffington, Steve Kroft, Christiane Amanpour, Ann Curry and more, issued a letter calling on the Iranian Judiciary to review Jason’s case. On Thursday, I joined National Press Club President John Hughes and Washington Post foreign editor Douglas Jehl for a news conference in Washington, D.C. to once again heighten calls for Jason’s release.
