Manitoba Infrastructure wants to close the Pine Grove Rest Area and remove the washrooms.  Its the only highway rest area between Winnipeg and the Ontario Border.  It has modern all season heated washrooms, picnic tables, phone, garbage and recycle bins.  The entire parking area was repaved two years ago.  This area has been used by truckers, cars, campers, motorcycles and bicyclists as a safe area to use the washroom, take a much needed break or walk the dog.  We're told to stop and rest if we feel fatigued while driving, but the only place to do that is being closed.  Please help us to keep this from happening.
