Reopen Inverness streets to traffic

Reopen Inverness streets to traffic
O problema
Inverness is a mess, with “Lego brick” barriers reducing the flow of traffic and making the city centre look ugly and unwelcoming.
The “temporary” measures were brought in over the summer to allow pedestrians and cyclists more space when the separation distance was advised as 2 metres.
Making Castle Street and Bridge Street one-way has increased journey times for drivers and resulted in additional pollution as engines idle in stationary traffic.
Millburn Road was built as a dual carriageway. A cycle lane was created by widening the pavement. It is ridiculous to now take away one traffic lane to give more space for cyclists.
Remove the barriers now and allow customers easier access to businesses in the city.
