On Sunday January 11th at noon, the temperature was -2 degrees and the sun was out. But there were few people on the High Park ice pads. No one is on the hockey pad, and only 14 on the pleasure skating pad (including two staff). Ironically, the Parks & Recreation division is conducting a survey of their ice facilities. So please complete the City survey by January 25th and tell them that High Park has become a stranded asset and will continue to deteriorate until vehicle access and parking is restored.
