Student Leader who fought for inclusion of Covid-19 treatment In Aarogyasri is contesting for #Huzurabad by elections.

Dr. Venkat Balmoor ~ President of NSUI, Telangana along with other Telangana Congress Leaders did an indefinite hunger strike for two days (April 26,27, 2021) demanding Telangana Government to include Covid-19 treatment in Aarogyasri Scheme.

This indefinite hunger strike and other protests forced Telangana Government to take a decision to include Covid-19 treatment in Aarogyasri Scheme initially in Government Hospitals and later to include in Private hospitals in a phased manner.

Considering his fighting spirit, dedication and commitment towards the public issues, Indian National Congress nominated him to contest in #Huzurabad by elections.
