Hey Sephora! Allow Shoppers to Filter Out Beauty Filters in Customer Reviews

The Issue

When shopping for beauty online, customer reviews may be one of the only honest ways to see a product on someone who actually looks like you, before you spend your money. But digitally filtered, picture-perfect review photos aren't helping anyone. We already have the brand's glossy marketing shots. What we actually need is real!

Unfiltered photos are where you see if the 'dewy finish' is actually greasy, if the 'nude' shade is actually pink, if the coverage is actually full. When shoppers can trust what they're seeing, everyone wins— fewer returns, less waste, more people finding products that actually work for them.

What we want: The option to filter out digitally manipulated photos in Sephora's product review section, so shoppers can see exactly how products look on real skin.

Sign to tell Sephora: we see through the filter!
