Members Thank you for your many and creative responses to the request to email the Parish Council – now it is ‘same again’ please, but this time to the Borough Council. As before, send either below message as is or, at your choice, your own equivalent – if its the latter please ensure it contains (i) the two TRACKS’ objectives (ii) the statement that you subscribe to them. Regards Stuart Send to: cllr.morris.bright@hertsmere.gov.uk: Copies to: cllr.caroline.clapper@hertsmere.gov.uk; cllr.John.Graham@hertsmere.gov.uk; cllr.charles.goldstein@hertsmere.gov.uk; cllr.david.lambert@hertsmere.gov.uk; manager@aldenham-pc.gov.uk; oliver@oliverdowden.com Cllr Morris Bright Proposal to develop Newberries car park, Radlett I am a Radlett resident , also member of TRACKS. The position of myself and (at least) 1,400 fellow residents is firm and unchanged from that already and repeatedly declared to HBC by TRACKS; it is, to re-iterate: •To prevent the development of Newberries car park as currently proposed and to retain it as a car park, well maintained and improved; •To ensure no development of this site other than with prior agreement of the majority of Radlett residents. Base on my understanding in this matter and all available published information I neither am convinced nor satisfied Council is addressing it properly, appropriately, reasonably or acceptably. Further, (in this matter) I have no confidence that Councillors Graham, Lambert, Goldstein and Clapper, elected by Radlett residents to represent their interests at Council: 1.are properly fulfilling their above duty; 2.adequately or correctly know/comprehend/acknowledge the views, wishes and position of their constituents; 3.adequately or correctly represent the above to other parties. This email is accordingly addressed to you as Leader of the Council. Together with 1,400 Hertsmere constituents I ask and expect your prompt confirmation Council has withdrawn its proposal.
