Consultation Event at The Radlett Centre - 10th & 13th October

Hertsmere Borough Council (HBC) are holding an open consultation event at the Radlett Centre on Monday 10th October and Thursday 13th October from 3pm-8pm. A flyer should have been posted to every household in Radlett, if it wasn't then please see the link below. Last night a magnificent 85 residents attended (thank you) Budgen’s – according to you/them it was very successful, positive and productive. The main achievements were (i) more TRACKS members (now over 1,200) (ii) new committee formed of present members and six new members (iii) fifteen arranged to man the exit poll at next week’s HBC presentation (see below). The main item was the HBC ‘open house’ event at the Radlett Centre. PLEASE do all you can to: •Go to one; •Ask/tell every resident you know to go to one; •Tell every HBC ‘consultant’ present you oppose the scheme in its entirety – full stop; •Say you want to see the evidence HBC has sought/got about (i) impact of increased traffic (ii) impact on High Street shops (iii) views of Radlett residents (it has none on any); •Assure HBC the High Street shops are fine – they do not want/need ‘improvement’; •Ask about all/any other items as you wish – e.g., parking; closure of Budgen’s/loss of Post Office; reduced access to Red House Surgery; red line spaces in car park – will they be kept? You must and will of course act and speak as you each judge fit so the above are just guides offered by your committee. As was stated last night “You (the members) are TRACKS, not the committee.
