My son Joshua Disdel (18) was injured on a building site and sadly died from his injuries Friday the 13th July 2018.

HSE (health safety executive) have taken charge of the investigation and are now prosecuting 2 company's and 2 individuals for breaking health and safety rules & regulations 

A trial date for April 2022 has been set again after many failed attempts, but to my dismay this isn't good enough and would like a date given alot sooner. 

The stress and trauma this has caused is immense for the whole family. I'm scared that by the time we get to court the findings won't be as fresh and the punishment won't be as hard due to the time that has lapsed.

The lack of communication over the last 3 years has also been appalling where I've had to wait months at a time for any updates regarding the case, I've not been offerd any form of support from the authorities which has left me feeling isolated. 

Overall I'm appalled with the justice system and being pushed from pillar to post the stress it's caused has become so intense its left me not being able to grieve properly for 3 years now. 

My patience has now run out and i would like the crown courts to come forward and provide me with a date for this year and  apologise for the trauma they've caused.

My son deserves justice so I won't stop until he gets it.
