We, the residents of The Townes at Pouncey Place would like the Henrico County Planning Commission to NOT approve the extension of Haven Mews Circle to the new proposed mixed use Residential and Commercial development planned at the Southeast corner of Pouncey Tract and Twin Hickory Lake Dr intersection. There is currently a proposal to re-zone the existing commercial use lot at the corner of Pouncey Tract Road and Twin Hickory Lake Dr in Glen Allen VA to a mixed use Residential and Commercial. As part of the traffic study conducted for the said proposal, there is idea put forward to provide access to Haven Mews Circle (which is currently a cul-de-sac inside the Townes at Pouncey Place) from the new development. There is also proposal to provide access to the new development from within the Townes of Pouncey Place residential streets. This will absolutely make the traffic inside the residential neighborhood worse. Besides this there are also security concerns with this change and a loss of privacy and seclusion. This petition is aimed at asking the Henrico County Planning Commission to not approve the proposal to extend Haven Mews Circle into the new planned development as well as provide access road to new development from anywhere else within the existing residential neighborhood. The Townes at Pouncey Place residents would be really hard done by this change and the property value for the neighborhood will go down as well. Thank you!
