For years, the Dutch chain called Hema, has been famous for two particular food items; the Rookworst; and the Tompouce. Over time, Hema has made limited edition items themed after these things; Rookworst socks, Tompouce candles, etc. Recently they even brought out complementary sneakers for each, combining this event with the question if which is more popular.

I, and many others do not agree with this sentiment. The Rookworst and the Tompouce should be cherished in unison, not put against each other!

Therefore I propose the ultimate solution: the rook-pouce. A tompouce with slices or rookworst in the middle, and the taste of the iconic sausage all trough the pastry.  I hope to get this trough before the 100th anniversary of Hema, in approximately two years, who is with me?

De Nederlandse winkelketen Hema staat al jaren bekend om twee bijzondere etenswaren; de Rookworst; en de Tompouce. In de loop van de tijd heeft Hema limited edition items gemaakt met als thema deze snacks ; Rookworst sokken, Tompouce kaarsen, etc. Onlangs brachten ze zelfs complementaire sneakers voor elk uit, gecombineerd de vraag welke populairder is. 

Ik, en vele anderen, zijn het niet eens met dit sentiment. De Rookworst en de Tompouce moeten we samen koesteren, niet tegenover elkaar zetten! Daarom stel ik de ultieme oplossing voor: de rook-pouce. Een tompouce met plakjes  rookworst in het midden, en de smaak van de iconische worst in de glazuur en room. 

Ik hoop dat dit voor elkaar te krijgen voor het 100-jarig bestaan van Hema, over ongeveer twee jaar, wie is het met mij eens?
