Helping bring justice to Cody Howell and his mourning family.
The Issue
On December 1st, 2021, a dear friend of mine was fatally shot and killed by his now ex-fiancee, Rochelle Proctor. Cody was not only a dear friend to many but a loving father, son, brother, and employee. And yet, even as 8 long and saddening months have come and gone, his family still has to receive any justice. Not once has anyone even remotely attempted to put his killer behind bars, charge her, or question her for what she has done. Rochelle Proctor is still living her life as if nothing ever happened. At the same time, Cody's family, two children, and friends are still suffering the loss of him.
Now it seems as if she's still living her life as free as before; we are having to not only profoundly suffer but fight for the justice Cody deserves, the justice his mother, Melissa Humphrey, deserves, the justice his two children, Hunter (11) and Wyatt (8) deserve as they are suffering most, and the justice his friends deserve. We want every bit of justice that is deserved. And for us to accomplish that goal, we need Maury County Police Department to do jobs correctly and thoroughly and not go off of the 'hear say' from a cold heart killer. Who had nothing to prove other than being cold-blooded and deceitful!
As brutal as this has been written, regardless of anything else- we want Rochelle Proctor to have to pay for what she has done. Because she doesn't deserve to walk around freely, nor should she have even had the opportunity to do so. So from this point forward, we will not stop until we get the justice we deserve and she is behind bars. For as long as it takes, we won't stop fighting for Cody, just like we won't stop fighting for these other families who have suffered something similar, not until justice is served because we all deserve to rest a little more knowing that a killer like her is behind bars so that we may be able to mourn in peace finally.
Also, I would like to take the time and ask anyone who knows/knows of Cody and his family to help bring justice to him by signing this petition. And if you had instead not sign, I ask that you at least share to help get the word out there! Because anything from a signature, share, comment, and/or like, is putting this family one step closer to bringing this case to the attention of the justice system.
