Earlier this month we received an email from Simon King, team leader of the Environment and Heritage City Planning Department:
“It is recognised that the park embellishment promoted by the developer and building maintenance has not met the expectation of the surrounding community. Council officers are developing a works schedule which includes development of a master plan that will inform the future use of the site. The master planning process will include community consultation and is scheduled to commence in early 2019.”
He has offered to meet and further discuss our concerns surrounding the site.
We plan on asking for an explanation as how and why the site has ended up in the current situation and what the “works schedule” and “master plan” actually involve.
We would love to hear what further questions/concerns about the site you would like answered by council so please feel free to post them in the discussion section below.
