CRD Bylaw Enforcement Officers Coming This Morning at 8am

Well, we've done what we can over the weekend, but bylaw officers will be attending Mouat Park this morning at 8 am with the intention of dismantling the camp that is currently home to 6 community members. 

If you are up and can attend as a community observer, please do! 

We do not want more stress and instability, but CRD staff have not made any attempt at scheduling another meeting like the ones we had last week. 

A community member has obtained legal counsel and Gary Holman has been emailed a detailed letter from the lawyer outlining how enforcing this eviction today is unlawful and not considered an appropriate action when it comes to the Charter Rights of those living in the park. 

We hope that you will consider joining us today at Mouats at the main parking lot and gate by 8 am today. We will also be filming to show our whole community how this plays out.
